The purpose of this site is to offer you more options when dealing with cancer, herpes, diabetes, arthritis and many other forms of immuno-deficiency diseases.
     
     	 CANCER
     
     Early detection is allegedly the key factor in surviving this disease.  However, statistics published by associations such as the American Cancer Society contradict this well-marketed advice:  They state that 90% of all cases of breast cancer as being "early detection."  If that was true, and early detection is the "key to survival," then why is it the second biggest killer among women in nearly every age group?  Clearly, the TREATMENT of breast cancer needs to be considered a major factor in this mortality rate.
     
     However, early, accurate detection will enable us ALL to choose our treatment methods with greater variety of options.  A blood test known as the Anti-Malignin Antibody in Serum, (AMAS) test is the best diagnostic aid available for early, accurate detection of cancer.  A simple blood test, it can detect ALL types of cancer, regardless of site or tissue type affected, even if the tumor is as small as a pencil dot, up to three years before (traditional) clinical diagnosis or the appearance of symptoms, with 95- to 99% accuracy.  In 1977, the FDA permitted marketing of this test, (under "Target Reagent" not AMAS.)  Medicare and many other insurance companies are paying for the test.  It permits confirmation of diagnosis while dramatically reducing or eliminating typical cancer-related procedures, including:  PSA's, mammograms, biopsies, x-rays, sonograms, and PAP smears.  Use of this test will enable cancer survivors to find peace of mind concerning their status after treatment and can reduce the need for harmful follow-up procedures such as chemotherapy and radiation.  It can also allow survivors to obtain health insurance sooner than the typical 1- to 5 year waiting period.
     
     The AMAS test is superior to all aforementioned procedures because it detects an antibody, anti-malignin, present at the onset of cancer.  Typical tests, like the Prostate Specific Antigen, PSA, detect antigens, which are not present until a tumor is large and in an advanced state!  As for mammograms, their improved ability to 'read' tissue masses has only produced more "uncertain diagnosis," which results in more procedures, such as the biopsy.  Do the math:  a biopsy costs $1,500, the AMAS test: $135.  Is it any wonder this test, which will revolutionize the business of cancer, has been kept a secret??
     
     The test was developed by Harvard neurochemist Dr. Samuel Bogoch.  His lab, Oncolab, is the only lab in the country offering an AMAS test.  He has made it possible for you to get the AMAS test anyway by obtaining a FREE AMAS test shipping kit:  1-800-9CA-TEST.  It is required to do the AMAS test.  The kit will arrive in approximately 7-10 days.  In it, clinical studies and data to support this remarkable test. If you want to get an AMAS test, order the kit, THEN bring the clinical data to your doctor.  Chances are, s/he will not have heard of the test.  Do not be discouraged if they resist.  Either persist, or find a new doctor to approve of your local blood draw.  (Even a chiropractor can approve a blood draw!)

     	Finding a lab:
     
     This can be challenging because about 1% of our population knows about the AMAS test.  It is vital that you NOT ask the blood lab, "Do you do the AMAS test?"  Only Oncolab does the AMAS test. Instead, read the technician's instructions found on the bottom of your doctor's authorization form, (in kit.)  Fax a copy to the local blood lab and ask if they will do the test according to those AMAS test specifications.
     
     Cancer survivors should use the test quarterly until their antibody levels have returned to normal. "High risk" individuals also includes smokers, those exposed to toxins, from housekeepers to nuclear plant workers, and, surprisingly, the obese.  Yes, obesity has been found to be a greater risk factor for cancer than having a family history of cancer.
     
     	Objections:
     
     Several doctors have asked me, "If this can detect a tumor as small as a pencil dot, how do we know where to treat the tumor?  How do we locate it?" Dr. Bogoch informed me that when the AMAS test comes back elevated, a doctor and patient have a more serious 'chat' about the patient's health.  Often, they are able to pinpoint where other diagnostic tests should be run.  
     
     A common misconception is that we are "always" fighting cancer.  This theory has not been proven.  Many people have a normal AMAS test, disproving this theory.  (A direct correlation between the presence of cancer and the anti-malignin antibody has been established with 3,315 double-blind studies.)
     If a small tumor has been detected, you are urged to enhance your immune system so it can produce antibody needed to combat the disease.  More on such products later...
     
     
     	Alternative Cancer Treatments
     
     Don Gist is a 65 year old man who has used supplements most of his life.  In fact, he'd often been called a "health nut."  Over the years, Don has had four major surgeries to remove skin cancer.  One recent incident involved a misdiagnosis, (all too common with cancer.)  A chief of staff surgeon told Don that the unusual patch of skin behind his ear lobe was a symptom of stress; that he should not worry about it.  Seven months later, Don was worried:  the patch had grown.  A second opinion was obtained.  Immediately, the new doctor ordered a biopsy.  The tissue proved to be cancerous.  A 45-minute surgery was scheduled, but it took the surgeon nearly two hours to complete the operation.  The tumor had grown perilously close to Don's brain.  Had it grown into his brain, the affected brain tissue would have also been cut out, impairing whatever body functions that part of his brain controlled. A four inch skin graft was taken from the back of Don's neck to fill the hole made by the surgical procedure. Don's case is clearly one of gross misdiagnosis, and yet, his attorney told him, "Don, this chief of staff surgeon is a powerful man.  It will be more trouble than its worth to sue him."  Don dropped the case.
     
     Because of exposure to the sun in his younger years, Don's skin produces hundreds of precancerous lesions on his face, arms, and neck. His doctor advised him he would be a lifelong patient, requiring quarterly visits to have the lesions burned off.  Now here's the miracle:
     
     On evening in August, 1997, Don and his wife took a rare time out to dine at a local restaurant. As he pulled into the parking lot, he noticed a large, Native American man getting off his motorcycle.  Don invited this man to join he and his wife for dinner.  As luck would have it, this man was a medicine man.  He told Don about authentic Essiac herbal formula, and assured him it would help reduce the precancerous lesions.  The medicine man insisted Don buy the authentic, eight-herb formula, sold in health food stores as "Flor-Essence."  Don got the tea. Five weeks after drinking a few ounces a day, the lesions disappeared AND THEY HAVE NOT COME BACK.
     
     I was intrigued by these results, especially because Don Gist is my father. I set out to find a cheaper source of authentic Essiac tea, and discovered price is not the only consideration.  The true recipe, known by only a few individuals, is a synergystic formula, which "boosts" the immune system so it can produce antibodies needed to fight symptoms, known as disease.  
     
     These diseases are simply symptoms of a depleted immune system, and include: many forms of arthritis, diabetes, (many can stop using insulin!), chronic pain, and cancer, to name just a few.  I eventually found a source for Essiac: authentic, less expensive, easy to prepare.  (This source turned me on to the AMAS test, [above], which has never been marketed on a mass level, which is why it is little-known today.      	C-Herb
     
     One evening, eight years ago, Dr. Gordon Pedersen was driving home from a lecture he'd given.  A blinding snowstorm caused him to pull over and wait it out.  He chose to 'hang out' in a drug store, where he was approached by a Native American man.  The man stared intensely at Dr. Pedersen, then walked away, saying nothing. He returned awhile later, and again, approached Gordon, saying, "God sent me to you.  I know you'll know what to do with this."  He reached into his pocket and pulled out a vial of herbs. "I have waited for you.  I know you will do the right thing."  He concluded by telling Gordon he was a medicine man; then, he left.  Dr. Pedersen took the herbs to his lab at Enrich, where he held a position as Vice President of Research and Development for this organic, herbal supplement company.  His research produced the product we now know as C-Herb.
     
     Comprised of commonly-used herbs, it safely, effectively, PERMANENTLY causes moles, warts and precancerous lesions to fall out in 5-7 days. The cavity left by the extricated foreign body literally fills in within a few days to two weeks, leaving little or no scar. Used internally, C-Herb causes viruses to be exposed, (they hide in protein, enter a cell, remove the protein coat, and attack the host.)  When exposed, a virus can be attacked by a strong immune system. C-Herb has no impact on good, healthy skin, is not caustic or acidic, and does not "burn away" unwanted tissue. Obviously, the immune system must be healthy to do this dramatic process. Dr. Pedersen strongly encourages the use of Essiac in tandem with C-Herb, as C-Herb mobilizes the immune system to cause the mole, wart or lesion to be expelled by the body. Rather, it exposes the problem to the body so the immune system can deal with it.
     
     
     
     

     Epidemic proportions of Attention Deficit Disorder, (ADD), are linked to overuse of antibiotics used to treat ear infections.  Studies have proven that the antibiotics commonly used to treat a child's ear ache do NOT work on ear infections.  These antibiotics promote overgrowth of yeast in the system, destroying the flora of the intestinal tract.  That creates an environment which changes the biochemistry of the body.  These chemical changes impair the synapse functioning of the brain, similar to static, so that communications are interrupted.
     
     This is descriptive of symptoms manifesting in the disease known as ADD, which is closely associated with school failure, depression, suicide, and criminal behavior, all notably on the rise in our country.
     
     We can now assume a fair proportion of ADD/ADHD in children is caused by iatrogenic conditions.  An iatrogenic condition is one virtually caused by, or brought upon as the result of, a physician's treatment.  Approximately 60% or more of admissions to hospitals each year are caused by the 'event.'
     
     Law Permits Iatrogenic Conditions
     
     There exists in each state a panel known as the "Medical Board."  The majority of its board members are traditional, or allopathic, physicians.  Their chief responsibility is to discipline physicians according to administrative law.  Unfortunately, these laws presently favor allopathic dominance over health care choices.  For instance, a physician who treats an ear ache with antibiotics is following customary procedures, and is not subject to disciplinary action.  This, in spite of the fact that the antibiotics are known to cause ADD/ADHD.  Conversely, a physician who attempts to treat through natural methods, rather than drugs, is charged with non-conventional practice of medicine.  
     
     Another illustration of such limiting regulations occurs everyday:  diagnosis and treatment of cancer.  Unless there is special permission, all practitioners for treatment of cancer must conduct or recommend only radiatiion, chemotherapy and surgery.  This is mandated by law in light of the well-documented, potentially harmful side effects caused by these conventional treatment methods.  However, to recommend any other medical advice is to risk discipline from the Medical Board.
     
     Self-interest and the Political Process
     
     Changing a state law takes four to six years and approximately $500,000.  Pharmaceutical companies have this money, not the people.  Their self-interest groups are experts at burying proposals that must be voted on if they are to progress through various approval committees.  If the bill survives their suppression, it has to pass the assembly, the Senate, and finally, it goes to the governor for signature.  The governor can choose to deny or promote the bill's passage into law.
     
     How Your Actions Influence Legislators
     
     Legislators are inclined to support the groups that put money in their future campaign coffers.  However, if they hear from a number of their constituents about what THEY want, then the legislator is inclined to support their constituents over their financial contributors.  Your letters mean votes to legislators wanting to gain or maintain political office.  One of the most successful medical freedom movements was citizens' reactions to the FDA's proposal to restrict citizens' access to high potency vitamins.  There were more letters written to Congress opposing the FDA proposal than were written against the Vietnam movement.  We can lost our citizens' rights by not exercising our power.  Write to your legislators and tell them you, their constituent, want access to choose alternative medical treatments.
     

     You Can Help Access Freedom of Choice
     
     "We want access to choose alternative medical treatments."
     
     1.  Write these words on postcards and send them to your local state legislators, including the governor.  You can find their names in the government section of your phone book or by calling the local library.
     Offer to write additional postcards on behalf of your friends.  They can sign and mail them in less than five minutes.
     
     2.  Attend local candidates' nights meetings, especially those for attorney general's office candidates.  Ask candidates, "Where do you stand on citizens' rights to access non-conventional or alternative medicine?"  Let them know you want access to alternative medical procedures.
     
     3.  Donate your time, talents, and contributions to organizations such as Citizens for Health, a grassroots effort needing your help to pass two bills:  "Cancer Patient's Bill of Rights," and the "Medical Freedom Bill."
